Preparedness Night with the Rome Braves
Floyd County Emergency Management is holding its 2nd Annual Emergency Preparedness Night with the Rome Braves Friday, Sept. 4 at State Mutual Stadium. Generators, personal Ready kits, grab and go evacuation kits, kids safety kits, a disaster preparedness duffle bag and 100 NOAA Weather Radios will be given away. Residents will also be able to register for CodeRED, a free mass weather alert system that calls when severe weather strikes. See you at the ballpark!
