Creating a Culture of Preparedness

Join the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta on Thursday, August 13 for the Creating a Culture of Preparedness conference featuring keynote speaker retired army Lt. Gen. Russel L. Honore. Informational sessions and training workshops will be led by experts from the Georgia Department of Community Health, the American Red Cross and FEMA. Topics include medical, school and community pandemic information and preparedness, business and family contingency planning and the value of community collaboration. The conference will be held at the Loudermilk Center located at 40 Courtland St., Atlanta, GA 30303 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be served and registration is $40. Click here to register.
